Jack Haley, Jr. (October 25, 1933 – April 21, 2001) was an American film director, producer and writer, twice winner of the Emmy Award. Haley was born in Los Angeles, the son of actor Jack Haley and his wife Florence. He was best known as the director of the 1974 compilation film ''That's Entertainment!'' and as the husband of Liza Minnelli, who was the daughter of Haley's father's co-star in ''The Wizard of Oz'', Judy Garland. Haley's other credits include producer and executive producer of Academy Awards presentation shows. He directed the 1970 film ''Norwood'' and the 1971 film ''The Love Machine''. ==Notable compilations and documentaries==
As a producer, Haley was responsible for some notable compilations and documentaries about film history, including ''That's Entertainment!'' (1974), ''That's Entertainment, Part II'' (1976), ''That's Dancing!'' (1985), and ''The Wonderful Wizard of Oz: 50 Years of Magic'', narrated by Angela Lansbury.
